On Saturday night, Mombasa was under a twin grenade attack.One person was killed at instance and many injured. one attack was in Mtwapa in a pub while the other at Mombasa tononoka grounds where a prayer meeting was taking place.
the pastor who was conducting the prayer meeting said a car passed the grounds as they where ending the meeting and immediately a grenade blast was held
The minister of security has said the Al-shabaab are responsible and a envoy of top government official from Nairobi descended down to coast. Three suspects have been arrested in connection to this attacks.
